You have a cleantech project and want to take it to the next level. Perfect, we invite you to aplly for our cleantech innovation competition.
This competition is part of the UNIDO / GEF Global Cleantech Innovation Program for SMEs in Ukraine. The finalists of competition have the opportunity to receive from up to $ 50,000 for startup project development, training at the Project Business Academy, mentoring from leading international and national experts, support in finding partners and financial resources to implement the ideas.
Terms of participation:
To participate in the startups competition are invited small and medium-sized enterprises with a registration period of not more than 3 years, organizations, creative teams, scientific societies and unions, individuals-inventors.
Startup projects should focus on the introduction of clean technologies (any processes, products or services that reduce negative environmental impacts throught significant energy efficiency improvements, the sustainable use of resources (including waste management) or environmental protectionactivities and to result in reductions in greenhouse gases and other pollutants.
Within the framework of cooperation with the OSCE project, during the 3rd wave of GCIP Ukraine Acceleration, a special nomination will be determined for projects relate to adaptation to climate change, environment and water management in the Dniester basin.
Innovation can be a product, technology, methodological approach, software, industrial design project. Startup projects should not be projects for the reconstruction or restructuring of existing businesses.
Potential semifinalists must be ready for 3 modules of study at the GCIP Ukraine Business Academy, work on the project and present the project to potential investors and partners.
In order to participate in the competition, you should fill in the application form on the project site in the section “Application form“.
Deadline is October 18, 2020.
The results of the competition will be announced within a month after the deadline for applications.
