In order to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the Cabinet of Ministers has introduced quarantine throughout Ukraine from March 12 to April 3. It provides that educational institutions will be closed, mass gatherings will be banned, and partial transfer to remote mode of work.

Since March 12, Coursera’s educational platform has been providing free access to Coursera for Campus courses for a number of universities. They will be available to students of higher education institutions closed through the coronavirus epidemic.
Universities must enroll in the system, after which students will have access to more than 3,800 courses and 400 specializations from leading universities and industry partners Coursera. The courses will be free from March 12 to July 31. After that, depending on the situation in the world, Coursera will decide whether to continue open access or not.
Ukrainian educational platform Prometheus also proposes to use over 100 free online courses ((https://prometheus.org.ua/courses-catalog/) for training and self-education during quarantine. These include the preparation for EIT for students, and a universal base of disciplines that will be useful to all – “Science of everyday thinking”, “Let’s learn: Powerful mental tools for mastering complex subjects”, “Media literacy: practical skills”, ” Financial Management, Economy for All, Management, How to Start a Startup, Urbanism: A Modern City.
In addition, in conjunction with INgenius Medical Platform, Prometheus is launching a free online Coronavirus: Facts Against Panic online course that debunks the most common myths and provides up-to-date information on the new COVID-19 coronavirus infection. This course summarizes and highlights the key facts gathered by the world’s most respected scientists and international health organizations.
