River Solar is an energy efficient tile made from plastic debris and solar panels. River Solar can perform the function of conventional roofing materials, which, in combination with lithium-ion energy storage systems, enables autonomous electrical supply to the home.
The basis is a tile made of plastic debris and sand. To the mixture is added a dye, UV stabilizer, then heated in a melting furnace and put under a press.
