GCIP Ukraine Acceleration Program – Final Judging

On November 15, 2020, the Final Judging for the first group of innovative projects within the GCIP Ukraine competition took place. Due to quarantine restrictions, the event was held in Zoom conference mode.

 

 

The first 12 semi-finalist teams presented their projects to a jury which included representatives of the Network for Global Innovation (NGIN, USA), Kaizen Institute Ukraine, International Green Technologies & Investments Cente (IGTIC, Kazakhstan), Ukraine-Denmark Energy Center,State Finance Institution for Innovations (SFII), State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, Council for Attracting Investments at the Rivne Regional State Administration, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

 

The judges evaluated the teams’ pitches, their ability to defend their business idea, and answer unexpected questions. Choosing the best among so many different innovative solutions is quite a difficult task. That is why, in addition to the winners, the strongest projects will also be awarded with special nominations.

 

On November 16, we will finally know the winners and nominees of the competition. We believe in the victory of everyone and we are proud that our country has so many extremely talented innovators!
