The GCIP Ukraine Regional Accelerator has been opened in the Kherson region

On July 1, Kherson National Technical University officially opened the Regional Accelerator GCIP Ukraine, which was established with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) under the Global Clean Technology Innovation Program for Small and Medium Enterprises in Ukraine (GCIP Ukraine).

 

The goals of the regional accelerator GCIP Ukraine are to promote innovation and technology transfer in the region, development of startups, cooperation with industry and small business, creating a comfortable innovation environment for the production and implementation of creative ideas and successful startups.

During the event, the national coordinator of the GCIP Ukraine project Igor Kyrylchuk announced the first competition of startup projects, which will last until September 30, 2021.

 

Students of universities, students of general secondary education institutions, small and medium enterprises with a registration term of not more than 3 years, organizations, creative teams, scientific societies and unions, inventors are invited to participate in the competition.

 

What the contest participants will receive:

  • Training at the Business Academy on the basics of entrepreneurship, marketing, business communications.
  • Familiarity with the latest methods of business management.
  • Opportunity to get advice on marketing activities, building a business model and creating presentations for investors.
  • Opportunity to establish contacts with entrepreneurs of the Kherson region. Networking.
  • Opportunity to present their startups on international platforms.
  • Mentoring program from international and national experts.
  • Support in finding investors, partners (from Ukraine and abroad) and financial support for the implementation of ideas.
  • Financial support from the UNIDO / GEF Project for the development of startup projects.
